Suggested Prerequisites for AP Stats?

<p>Currently, my math class track is geometry-->Algebra 2/Trig accelerated-->precalculus--> calculus
I'm considering tagging on a stats class, ideally AP stats but if I can't take it (potential scheduling issues) I'm also considering the normal stats class with self study for the AP test. </p>

<p>So, my question is, how much math do I need to be able to take stats? Should I wait until after I've taken Algebra 2? Until after I've taken precalculus? I'm trying to figure out which year(s) I could potentially take it.</p>
