Suggested reading?

Reef Points, pure and simple, best book you are going to get if you are planning on going to the academy. It's amazing the number of mids who sell them on E-Bay after their plebe year is over. If you want to prepare, that's how you do it. Not that the other books areen't great, I've read most of em, but if you really want to be ready for the academy etc...look to get a copy of Reef Points

Robido - Is there any problem with a pre-plebe reading through Reef Points before I-Day? Would the plebe receive grief if he/she memorized important parts before they started? Or is it any type of honor violation? Thanks.

djc- Not that I know of, in fact, in the Candidate book which has been mentioned numerous times in this thread, the author (can't remember the name) actually suggested trying to get one or borrow one from an upperclassmen. Though, honestly, I can't say if it will get you in trouble, I just got my appointment and have just started memorizing as much as i can from last year's reef points. Though, I can't see too much harm in it, there is still a mountain of pro knowledge you will need to memorize which isn't in reef points.

Thanks Robido. Get ahead whenever you can. Best of luck to you.
