<p>Is your DD an international student? That would make a big difference in terms of admissions/financial aid. If a US citizen, a number of of the schools that would be on her list are needblind in admission and some guarantee to meet full need. If not, the chances go down drastically. Some school do not give aid to international students at all, so it’s a zero % chance of admissions/aid at such school and they should be dropped from your DD"s list. CMU might be such a school, for example, that does not give fin aid to international students.</p>
