suggestions/chances for a somewhat average person?

Hello there! I hate to actually create one of these chances threads, but seeing as how I have been rather unsure of everything lately, I decided to. I would appreciate any help as to what you think my chances are at the following schools, and also if you have any further suggestions for schools I should look at.

Midwestern white female senior, major: undecided (more social sciences)

Considering:
University of Pennsylvania (huge reach, I know)
Northwestern (reach)
Notre Dame (reach?)
Rice (reach?)
More/less safties: loyola-chicago, Saint Louis University, a few others

Stats:
GPA: 3.9/4.0
class rank: top 3%
SAT: 2000 (not at all happy with that, am retaking in October, hopefully will raise!)
ACT: 31 (also retaking)
SAT IIs: taking in November/December (Math IIC, Biology, Latin)

Classes:
Like most everyone else here, I take a bunch of APs - a very demanding schedule. I don't think I need to list them all. By the end of senior year, I will have taken nine APs in total, and many other honors classes, with 4/5 years in each subject.

A.P. scores: only taken two tests so far (U.S. History and Psychology) - both 5s

E.C. This is unfortunately the weakest part for me, and something I'm not too sure about, especially in terms of leadership.
Hospital Volunteer - four years (over 300 hundred hours), lots of involvement there (fundraisers, help with training a lot, etc.)
Newspaper (11/12) - editor this year
JCL (Latin) - four years (treasurer 11)
Environmental Interact - three years
Academic Decathalon - three years
NHS
theatre - just became involved this year :-)

Awards: random academic ones (Latin, Spanish, writing, newspaper, etc.), volunteer ones, nothing too special.

Recommendations/essays: honestly, how can I judge what those will be like? They should be decent, and as writing it one of my strengths, I'm hoping my essay will stand out. :-)

Thus, there is my information! Mostly I'm looking for advice, especially in terms of where else I should consider. I would appreciate any response, especially since I'm running out of time in terms of decisions. Thanks!

and by average i expect you mean average CCer? Seeing as top 3% obviously nullifies being average. Ummm:
"University of Pennsylvania (huge reach, I know)
Northwestern (reach)
Notre Dame (reach?)
Rice (reach?)
More/less safties: loyola-chicago, Saint Louis University"

correct

Yes, I did indeed mean average in comparison to all the others profiles I have come across. Thanks.

Figured ;)

haha, yes. I actually regretted putting "average" in my title after I posted, but no matter. The one thing I despise about this site is how inferior it makes one feel in comparison to others and how quickly it makes one rather depressed.

Anyway, I hate to reply to my own thread again, but does anyone else have any other advice? I'm especially looking for other schools to consider, either reaches/safties. Thanks. :-)
