suggestions for a friend

One of my friends in free-period saw me posting on CC (oops. caught red-handed!) and asked if I would post her Stats and what she'd like a college to get suggestions. She really isn't sure where to look, and unfortunately, our guidance staff are only really interested in the higher achieving students, so she hasn't had much help.

Stats:
GPA: 3.0 UW (school doesn't weight)
SATs: 590cr, 550m, 610w

She would like to go a liberal arts college on the east coast. Preferably near one of the larger cities (ie: Boston, New York, Philidephia) She plans to major in Biology. She has a very liberal outlook, and wants to go to a school were her bisexuality will not be discriminated against. She also would prefer a school with an active party scene. Any suggestions? I'm not sure what to advise, as we're complete opposites.

Ithaca College?

It's not entirely a liberal arts college, but it isn't huge, either. Her SATs are in the right range, and the college and community (as well as that other school on the other side of town) are the sorts of places that welcome people of all sexual orientations.

Sarah Lawrence is coming to mind.

Wheaton (MA)
Ursinus (PA)
Hampshire (MA)
Stonehill (MA)

St Mikes (VT)
Skidmore
Hobart

add Drew to the list

Hey- Centre is not the way you spell it. IT IS CENTER. I have never heard it called that before!

I'm from England. We invented the word 'centre' and that's how we spell it. :P

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I'll pass them along to my friend!
