Suggestions for environmental engineering?

He has not yet applied anywhere else as he is still working on his essay. He is likely applying to Lafayette, Tufts, Bucknell, WPI, Union so far and possibly UVM, U Rochester. I am still hoping he will consider some other larger public schools but he thinks he wants smaller.

Still looking into Dayton, Cal Poly, UNH too…he’s so stressed right now, I am going to wait until he completes his common app essay to have him consider more places.

If he’s doing the Cal State application, Cal Poly Humboldt would be a safety (not that you need safeties, with UMinn already nailed down-congrats!), and this new program might appeal Energy Systems Engineering | Cal Poly Humboldt Not sure if it will be an ABET program; and if it is, the accreditation will be pending… but the proposed curriculum looks interesting.

If Merit aid would be especially appreciated, there is a very good chance your son, with his excellent stats, would receive substantial merit aid at UD.

Remember that the engineering school is usually it’s own pocket within a large university. Look at the size of the engineering school, not the size of the university.
