Suggestions for getting interships with finance companies

<p>I finished my first year at Ohio State, with a 3.97 majoring in Chemical Engineering. I got a co-op offer for the fall with a well known oil company but I really want to get into financial analysis, and I plan on applying to several companies when I come back in the Winter. </p>

<p>Is it unreasonable to apply to places like JPMorgan or Goldman Sachs, or am I better sticking to more technical jobs until grad school and major in something more that can lead me to those positions?</p>

<p>a few of the big name companies do recruit as early as sophomore year. Check out their corporate websites or speak with your college career counselor. They will let you know if those companies actively recruit in your school</p>
