Hey... I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions for some easy/interesting classes to take for electives. I'll be a sophomore and still haven't taken any non gen-ed requirements, so I'm open to anything. If you could post the class and professor you had, that would be awesome. Thanks so much!

CAMS 1103 with Professor Travis. It was an online class, and one of the easiest A’s I’ve gotten in my life. It’s all classical mythology so to me it was pretty interesting.

FREN 1177 with Professor Berthelot was another pretty easy class. It meets once a week and each class is 3 hours so it’s pretty hard to sit through. Also attendance is part of the grade; I don’t skip lectures so to me that was a plus, but if you’re someone who doesn’t like to go to class then just keep that in mind. It’s all about wizard/witches in France and so it was a bit interesting, but honestly it’s pretty hard to sit through. But it was really easy, so it’s up to you if an easy A is worth sitting through something really boring (and that’s coming from someone who was interested in the material).

Also, I’m not sure if you’re a member, but I recommend signing up for MyEDU. It’s a site where you enter you class schedule and you can see professor ratings and average grade distributions, and they have a lot of people who share some good/easy electives to take, so that might give you some more ideas.
