Suggestions for good engineering undergraduate colleges?

Other than ivies, help me list a couple of colleges in the northeast with a good urban feel to it. Also a college that has some sort of social life besides academics. The only ones that are ontop of my head currently are:

Cooper Union
BU
Rutgers State
Rochester Institute of Technology
Carnegie Mellon University

Thanks! any help would help!

MIT is not an Ivy, but it certainly is a top engineering school!

UPenn, especially for certain types of engineering.

Swarthmore has its own sort of social life, but is very academically intense, in a slighlty different way than MIT.

Harvard is good for eng, just not top 20, and MIT is a resource to all Harvard undergrad engineering majors.

Columbia.

laxer, the OP said "some sort of social life besides academics".;) Not that CMU, RIT or CU are better there, at least MIT is in Cambridge.

Chiwah, I would look into some of the top Big10 schools: Michigan, Wisconsin. Not exactly NE, but not very far either. Also, McGill U in Canada (tops in terms of social life/urban feel with a great engineering dept.)

Johns Hopkins
U Maryland College Park
Columbia
Case Western
Rutgers New Brunswick
WPI
Drexel
SUNY Buffalo
U Pittsburgh
Boston U
Northeastern
Polytechnic U
Syracuse
Tufts

BTW, RIT has very little social life and it does not have an urban feel at all.

lol thanks guys, i dont know what i was thinking
