Hi, I am currently a 4th year student at UCSD finishing my undergraduate degree in structural engineering. I want to consider applying to graduate schools, but I don't know which programs to apply. obviously, my chances of going to a top graduate school is unlikely. However, I would like to further my aspirations to become a structural engineer.

If anyone has experience or knows of good graduate structural programs? What school would you recommend?
If in California, it would be preferred. Thank you.

I also want to add that I currently have no construction or field engineering experience. But I will be taking a 5th year to boost my GPA with Urban Studies & Planning minor and look for experience my 5th year before I apply

You need to provide a bit more inforamtion about your GPA and GRE scores. However, choosing a graduate program is a very personal activity. No one can really give you a lis to schools to which you should apply. Do a bit of research on the program web sites to find which programs are the best fit for your interests. Then take a look at the admission requirements and select a range of programs that will give you the best opportunity to be admitted.
