I'm looking for a university in CO, in a town that isn't huge that has a good pre med reputation. I'm not interested in a fancy top notch school, just a nice good, average school to transfer to next year that will help me get into medical school. I'm majoring in biological sciences.
I've looked at UC Denver, UC Boulder, UC Colorado springs, and Colorado state university. Right now i am most interested in CSU. I'm starting off at mesa state college.

Fort Collins is a lovely town. I don’t know anything specifically about its bio dept, but I’ve know of a few kids who go/have gone there and have been quite happy with the quality of their education. From what I’ve heard the university and the students are fairly laid back.

UC Denver is largely a medical and grad campus with a hospital adjacent, but the traffic is hideous. (Had a friend who did her grad architecture degree there and was soooooo glad to be finished.)

Springs is nice town, less expensive COL than Denver or Boulder, but UC-CS is the weakest academically of the 3 UC campuses.

Boulder is also a lovely town, but expensive. And the UC-Boulder campus is huge, but the bio dept is nationally ranked.
