Suggestions for safety schools/good match?

So like most people, I'm having no issue finding reach schools that I would love, love, love to go to, but I want to find some safeties that I would actually like if I ended up going there.

Stats:
GPA: 3.6 UW 3.7 W (steady upward trend)
SAT: V: 630 W: 650 M: 680 (taking for 2nd time in June)
SATII's will take Lit, Math II, and German
AP's: this year: US Gov and Politics, Statistics, and English Language & Comp. Next year: Biology, Calc BC, English Lit, and German
EC's
Band (placed in highest wind ensemble, squad leader/section leader in nationally acclaimed marching band)
Co-chair of fundraising for Hudson Presbyterian Church Youth Mission Fund
National Honors Society
German Club (president)
Future Medical Leaders (president)

community service: over 300 hours

schools I have picked out now:
Reach: Tufts, Georgetown, Emory
Good match: Wheaton, Ohio State, Case Western
Safety: ???

Any suggestions??

How about your flagship state school

that would be osu, haha :)

You need to find one rock solid True Safety. This school is one that

1) Has to admit you based on your stats.
Please note that I have written “has to” not “is very likely to”. Read the websites of your home-state public universities to find out what stats guarantee automatic admission, and which of those universities are “open admission”. Take a look at community colleges near you too. Are they all “open admission” or do some of them require a certain GPA to get in?

2) You can pay for without any financial aid other than federally determined financial aid.

3) Offers your potential major(s), or in the case of a community college, offers the first two years of your potential major(s) with a guaranteed transfer program to a four-year college or university.

4) You will be willing to attend if all of your other options fail you.

Please, please find this place. It is out there. Please don’t be one of those kids next April who is starting threads with titles like “I can’t afford any of my colleges” or “I didn’t get in anywhere, even my safeties”.

With your school grades and scores, there is not a chance in the world you won’t get into Ohio State so I wouldn’t worry about anything other than spending time in Columbus.

Instead, concentrate on anything you can do to get into the schools you want to get into.

Thanks for the advice, you guys! Anyone else?

Low Reach: NYU
Math: Tulane (you could probably get some very good money here), Fordham
Safety: You state schools are your best bet. You don’t want to go to some obscure Podunk U. lol

Maybe Arizona State University, University of Colorado- Boulder
