Hi, I am a rising junior who is trying to decide what SAT subject test to take! I've heard that competitive colleges require minimum 3 subject test, and I already took World History (got 800 with a week of studying.. so lucky) and will take and studying SAT Math 2. I am planning to major not in science or math field, but in economics, business, or international relations. I heard it is best to take one about language, and I first planned to take Korean Listening (I am native speaker who went to us about an year ago), but decided not to because the location was too far away and because I heard it is useless to take one when you are native speaker. So my questions are : Is Korean worth taking? and if not what should I take, between US History and Literature? I am willing to and confident in USH, but not in Lit, as a non-native speaker. And by the way, I will probably get at least over 750 in Math 2, and hopefully 800. Thanks.

I heard the Lit test is the easiest SAT II, but it might be difficult if you aren’t super comfortable with English. I got 750 in math, if I had studied, it prolly would have been higher lol. Maybe try the lit test and the ush test because you would already have a history test.

^The literature test is known to be one of the most, if not the, most difficult. Even those who score well on SAT1 CR have had trouble replicating the same level of success on this test.

You shouldn’t take Korean. Definitely take Math II. If you don’t think you can get 700+ on Lit, take USH, where you will probably get 750+, considering your World History Score.

Lit is probably THE HARDEST subject test there is, and it would be harder for you since you’re new to the language (please don’t take offense to that). Great job on WH! Math II is pretty easy, especially if you have the pre-calc knowledge. Also, the curve for Math II is VERY lenient, you can get like -7ish off your raw score and still get an 800. Taking the Korean test would be useless, because colleges DO NOT accept subject tests in native languages. So study for US History and you’ll be great!

yeah thanks for suggestions!
The only reason that I will not take USH is that it seemed like USH is kind of redundant to WH. I looked up some practice questions for lit, and yeah, they seemed really hard. Though English is my second language, I think I do well above average in reading; I usually get 650-700 in cr in sat 2. I may consider taking lit next year.
