<p>I went to high school in MD as well. From my school, your stats are a little lower than the students who got into UMD, but you seem about on with Towson, Salisbury, Delaware. Towson is known for its education program, so it’d certainly be a good fit in that respect if you wanted to double major in math and education. Another school in the general MD area (its in Virginia, but not too faraway) is JMU; I know they have an education program as well, and its a very pretty location. One issue is that while advanced tech (engineering) can replace foreign language for high school graduation, a lot of colleges still like to see foreign language study. You might want to ask your counselor to emphasize in his/her rec that the engineering classes made fitting a foreign language into your schedule difficult.</p>
