And please, I’d appreciate it if you didn’t just “■■■■■” on this thread and instead be constructive and supportive. College Confidential has a nasty reputation of having perfectionists attack people who have less than fantastic credentials, and I’ve seen these posts myself. I understand I’m well below the average of people who use this site. Don’t say anything along the lines of:</p>

<p>Same. Good luck to you and your band, and please, PLEASE be expressive when you conduct. Don’t be one of those boring kids who only conduct in a 4/4 pattern without showing emotion/cues/passion/etc.</p>
