Hi! I saw some mentions of UNCW and I’m currently a senior there majoring in marine biology. They have a good marine biology program and if you’re interested in research, they have the Center for Marine Science (CMS) nearby with plenty of opportunities to boost your resume if you decide to go that route. UNCW also offers creative writing. It also has a LGBTQIA office located in the student center and it seems to draw a solid community; However, I can’t speak about it from experience.
