So as the story goes, there's this girl I really like. I think I have a decent chance with her, based on the way she usually acts around me, so I want to ask her out.

Thing is, I've never really asked out a girl. It usually goes that I like a girl, and she doesn't return the feelings, or vice versa.

Anyway, how do I go about asking her? Do I just flat out say "Wanna go out? (Paraphrased)", do I lead into it somehow, what exactly should I do?

Thanks for the help,
Alexander M.

“only on cc” strikes again…

ok so you lead with, “I’ll show you mine if you show me yours.” Then see where that takes you.

Umm no seriously I would say the best advice is:
A- Do it is person
B- Make it genuine
C- Make sure it is the right moment. Dont just look at her in class and say “Will you be
my girlfriend”

Get her into your car somehow.

Drive to remote location at night: secluded, private.

Ask her out.
4a) If yes, congratz!
4b) If no, kick her out and leave her there alone in the dark.
5) ???
6) Profit!

Ok I haven’t either, but mainly out of disinterest and people at my school are pretty unattractive.

This is what you do:

Hi

Hi

Whats going on

Blah blah blah

Respond

Oh!!! Blah blah blah

No way! Ect Ect

Repeat - less than 5 minuets (hint - this is called flirting)

Hey I got to go, but how about we go out sometime, how about XYZ

Ok, that sounds great! Here is my number

-------------------Time passes, date time

Talk about crap. Date draws to a close:

I had a great time (you)

Yeah it was really fun being with you

Lets do it again, your pick this time, where do you want to go?

XYZ

Awesome, I’ll call you and we’ll work it out

kiss if you feel its right

Repeat, after a good number of dates you will be dating. In high school many feel the need to actually say “ok we are exclusive now” In real life its pretty much understand after a bit.

GLHF

I always thought this was called having a conversation…
At least now I see the need for the “What is flirting?” thread

Conversation with the intention to ask someone out is flirting in my mind since you have the point of the conversation is so.
