Suggestions on my admissions

<p>I am a class XII student from India. I'll be taking my SAT on June 2 and my SAT II's in October.........</p>

<h2>Class IX:</h2>

<p>Class Rank - 1
Maths - 94
Science - 72 (sorry! but our school used deflated marks to motivate us)
English - 75
Computers - 88
Overall - 77%</p>

<h2>Class X:</h2>

<p>Class Rank - 2
Maths - 97
English - 90
Science - 90
Computers - 99
Overall - 92.2%</p>

<h2>Class XI: (Disappointing! but the jump in syllabus is too much from X to XI)</h2>

<p>Class Rank - 9
Maths - 79
Computers - 85
English - 68
Science - 49 :(
Overall - 72.5%</p>

<p>I am expecting great marks in Class XII and working very hard for it.
Maybe i'll get scores like my class X ones or even better.</p>

<h2>My ECs are not so bright either.... trying to list em here:</h2>

<p>1) High Distinction in Mathematics at the Macmillan Olympiad (99th percentile)
2) Distinction in Science at the Macmillan Olympiad (93rd Percentile)
3) Obtained a rank 306 in an All-India Talent Reward exam (out of 40000 candidates)
4) Active Participant and member of the school Dramatics, Debate and Elocution Team.
5) Selected House Captain in Class X in J.D.S
6) Selected School Prefect in Class XII at Frank Anthony Public School.
(I switched schools in Class XI)</p>

<p>My projected Sat Scores are:
SAT I - 2300+
SAT IIs:
Physics - 750+
Maths II - 800
Chemistry - 750+</p>

<p>My EC's have been of a great concern for me, Please post in any suggestions for improving my ECs, if any......</p>

<h2>My list is:</h2>

<p>1)TAMU
2)TULSA
3)Purdue University
4)Indiana State University
5)Lake Superior State University</p>

<p>What are my chances??? plz suggest any changes in the list to be made.....
And yess.... I want to pursue a career in Robotics or
Computer Science(Game-Making)</p>

<p>Oh, okay, I assumed you just wrote your boards, sorry :(. Because I'd describe myself as "in Class XII" too.</p>

<p>Aman your chances at above are pretty good. I thought you were worried about your SAT scores and now you are projecting such fine scores :P </p>

<p>You are in at Purdue if you get those SAT scores. And probably at others too!No doubt.</p>

<p>Georgia Tech is a solid choice in my books if you are looking into that type of field. </p>

<p>How much aid? If you can afford around 20 k you'll have no problem in getting into these schools.</p>

No Idea abt Tulsa. I am not sure where I would be, waiting for the admit list from waitlist.</p>

<p>Sorry for the late reply. I don't visit this forum often hence.</p>

<p>aman: I am not sure if these schools would award such a large amount of aid to internationals. Better check the average amount of aid awarded to intl's from CB.</p>
