suggestions on transferring

Hi everyone. I decided after getting annoyed with what direction to turn to come join this site. I am going to be a transfer student. I am looking for a small school, with good scholarships and a greek life. I am interested in the southern states and northern states. If you have suggestions of schools in the midwest, like knox feel free. I am a science major. I need a school in an area where I can have areas to research and hospitals to shadow at. I am looking at University of Miami, William and Marry, Birmingham Southern College, Knox College. I want to apply to one or two schools for fall and then the rest for spring.I am looking for a social campus as well as academic vibe.I spend most of my time studying. A school with good med rate acceptances. feel free to throw me in all directions:) I just want suggestions and good impute. Thank you

William and Mary is good

Rhodes, especially if you’re looking at Birmingham Southern. Better bio, better financial situation, better partnerships with the local medical industry.

If you’re a resident of VA, William & Mary is hard to beat; it’s just a fantastic value for in-state residents.

What state are you in?

Most schools do NOT give much aid/merit to transfer students. Maybe a couple of thousand, but not enough to make a serious dent in cost.

If you’re OOS for W&M, that won’t work unless you can pay the costs.

BSC is a very nice school…but I’m not sure about transfer merit. They’re good to incoming frosh…Did you check their website?

What is your budget? How much will your family pay?

If your budget is low, then what are your state schools? Is there one that you can commute to?

Forgot my login and so this is very very late. Because it is my last two years I do not mind loans if they not skyrocket high. Thank you

You can’t borrow that much money. Your parents would have to. Would you do that to them?
