So I wrote two essays and I don't know which one to use. One is about my passion for music, it has good metaphors and it's really descriptive; but there's nothing about actual medals or going to competitions; at the end, I wrote about helping other kids learn mmusic thtoery, etc..The other essay is about my role in a club and my passion with humanitarian work. It starts with a specific example and then talks about how I actually helped improve conditions for disadvantaged individuals. I have no idea which one to choose because both show what motivates me; music and humanitarian work. Which one do you guys think will have a stronger impression. I'm sort of refraining from using the music one because I feel like everyone will talk about music...PLZ HELP!

its hard for others to choose because you should submit whatever represents you the best, but if are passionate about both equally (i don't think that's the right word to use here but whatev haha), then i would go with the humanitarian one. 'cause i think you're right and a lot of people will talk about music.

thanks so much anyone else

depends which one is written better.

personally, I would go with the music. I feel like everyone and their grandmother will say I was in Club X and I volunteered and did Y because I truly love helping people. However true this may be, it becomes hard to differentiate between people who truly do care and those who just do it. Your achievements of improving conditions could be seen as over-exaggerated. BUT I did not read both essays, so it is really up to you.
