I got an offer from Suffolk University (Accounting major), and still waiting for the result from Boston University. Suffolk requires me to make the decision before May 1st, seven days left~But I am not sure whether I can get the offer from BU before this date (I am sending the proof of graduation, it may take 3-4 days to arrive there, so at least next Tuesday they can review my application). So what do you suggest me to do? Accept the Suffolk offer and then decline? (I am not sure about the result of Boston University, my GPA is a little bit below the average. But I have received BU ID). Thanks.

accept Suffolk. If BU comes in later and it’s a good option for you, you the cancel your spot with Suffolk. You may lose a deposit but it happens all the time.

@T26E4 So it won’t affect my future, is it correct?

Correct. All colleges know that people may drop out after initially committing. What would be wrong would be for you to commit to both simultaneously because you can’t decide. Turning down suffolk to accept a later offer from BU is perfectly acceptable.
