suggestions?

Obviously you don't know much about me... but overall, with my few stats, do you think I have too many reaches??

GPA 3.65 UW/ 3.98W

SATs 1420 (2120), 680V, 740M, 700W... M2 760 USH 710 Bio620<--frosh year

Pretty boring EC's...except for a month long service trip, and a foriegn homestay... no leadership, cross country & track runner, science club, french honor society, national merit commended student, amnesty international,a job most summers

Good essay, one excellent rec, one okay

white/female/MA/wicked hard private school

SCHOOLS--> Umass Amherst (safety),
Mcgill (slight reach?)
Brown (huge reach),
Welseyan (reach),
UC Berkeley (reach),
UC San Diego (slight reach?),
UC Santa Cruz (safety/match?)

are these correct (match/reach/safety ect?)

other colleges to look at (judging by my list), i like french, warm weather, artsy/creative/intellectual colleges... & strong academics

Reed maybe? is that a safety?

is it bad to have mostly reaches?

As long as you have two safeties that you truly like and would be truly happy attending, you're fine.

With your GPA and SATs, Reed is a match, but your ECs are not strong; the other schools look about right.

McGill is not a place for someone who likes warm weather. Boston U, Bates, and Oberlin are good places if you're artsy/creative--though none have balmy weather.
