Of course I am speculating but like you said it’s weird and unusual the lack of response. However these administrators are trying to keep a positive image for the campus and suicides make parents think twice of how much value their hard earned dollars are getting if kids are depressed there…
Car crashes are high profile and can’t be avoided. On the other hand suicide can be swept under the rug if it’s quiet…it’s really bad if administrators are actually doing this to avoid press
