I believe there are pretty serious limitations to when a school can require a student to take medical leave … bad grades, can require an academic break … behavior issues, can require a judicial break … medical problems but in standing academically and judicially, schools probably can’t require a medical leave. I have no idea what schools can impose if a student attempts suicide.</p>
<p>Never considered it & don’t know what the rate is at any of the schools S applied or the school he & D attend(ed). Don’t know what it was or is at the schools I attended either.</p>
