<p>I’ll never forget the time we packed a wheeled duffle for a trip to Florida. The duffle sat on the airline’s luggage train vehicle out on the tarmac during a torrential summer downpour. </p>
<p>Guess what. Rain seeps straight through LL Bean duffles. All our clothes were soaking wet when we got to Fl. (And the bag was heavy!) We love those bags. Really love them. But now we prefer to use them when we’re sure they won’t get caught in the rain.</p>
