Suites as a Freshman

Is it easy to get a suite as a freshman?

The answer is no. All freshmen live in two quads that have dorms with singles, doubles, triples or forced triples. The closest you might get is a lofted triple, which would be spread over 2 rooms.

Calling a lofted/natural triple a suite is a major stretch. Let's keep it simple and say that there are no suites made available to first year students.

What is a forced triple (as opposed to a natural triple)? forced triple has 2 closets and natural triple has 3 closets?

a forced triple is when three people live in a room designated for two. one of the beds is lofted in order to accommodate three students.

a natural triple is when there are two rooms attached to "naturally" fit three people. if you have a natural triple, there are three bed and three desk units, so as a trio, you decide how to organize the space. (Most do the conventional set-up of three beds in one room and three desks in another room, but some are more creative.)

Hope this hopes.

You don't chose freshman anyway, so how easy it is to obtain a "suite" (which I assume you mean natural triple?) is obsolete. You just want to hope for a double.

When i say "suite" i mean...not having communal bathrooms with the whole hall.

You're out of luck.

Alright, thank-you.
