Does anyone know if there is a chance of getting in after being wait listed?
This is my first attempt and I did all the questions (though i don’t know if they are all right) , my academics and ec’s are fine.
And has anyone else been wait listed before and then accepted?</p>

<p>I am currently in the 10th grade in India and looking for info on EPGY program. planning on applying for 2014 summer program. I am not planning to write any of the standardized tests as I understand EPGY does not require them. I am interested in particle physics and will be able to provide some work samples by 2014.<br>
Is that sufficient?
what other credentials will help with acceptance?<br>
Is there any other summer program in other US universities that would NOT require standardized test scores?
What other summer programs did you apply for other than stanford?</p>

<p>HI! Well I went to EPGY last summer when I was in 10th grade and i can tell you that its amazing! I dont think that standardized tests are necessary or something. I think all they see are your school scores, your answers to the essay questions and your solutions to the math problem( ie if you are applying for math). I think you should apply ASAP if you are applying for this year as the seats fill up quite quickly.</p>

<p>@anewbeginning I’m also waitlisted. Have you received any reponses yet from SUMaC? As far as I know, all of those who were accepted were supposed to pay $500 by May 1st. I think they should be continuously admitting people from the wait list but I haven’t got any reply.</p>

<p>@dhayaa Oh no not for the 2014 courses, I thought that you are applying for this year so I thought you are late for the applications. Anyway I did EPGY in Number Theory and i can assure you that it is amazing fun!! :)</p>
