I’m US, I think a few of the earlier responders were from India
I myself am from Pakistan

Admitted to Program II!!!
I didn’t get in. Best of luck to you all!
my son did not get in.
They’re out, at least mine is. I didn’t make it. Good luck to all of you!
Hello friends, I am Jai Vardhan Fatehpuria from India. I have been accepted for Program 1. If any of you applicants have been accepted please PM me and we can talk! Heartiest congratulations to each and every one of you! Looking forward to meeting each one of you. Let’s make SUMaC 2015 the best summer of our lives!
I have been accepted for SUMaC program 2. I will PM @JaivardhanF.
normally don’t post these things but i got accepted to program II (yay first choice!) and i think this would be helpful for other applicants in the future:
attempted 10/10 and only finished 9-9.5/10 of them (don’t know how many I got correct)
good rec letter
essay questions - wrote them in an hour and didn’t proofread…
extracurriculars - some math related (nothing spectacular)
test scores - nothing spectacular
competitions - have been to a few but nothing spectacular
hm honestly i’m not sure how i got in but i think they weigh the admission exam the most (which is what i spent the most time on)
tip: don’t submit at 11:59 pm
Got rejected… Probably wouldn’t have gone anyway, but it did still surprise me.
I did all 10 problems (9.5 were pretty much perfect)
My gpa is 3.97UW at my high school which is a pretty competitive private one.
I have taken 11 college courses including Linear Algebra, Multi-variable Calculus, two semesters of Differential Equations, and Combinatorics and I have a gpa of 4.0 in them.
My letter of recommendation was really good and my written responses were also pretty good.
I am the co-founder of a math club and the founder computer science club. I have done tutoring too.
I hadn’t taken standardized tests (SAT, ACT, etc.) when I applied and I haven’t done any competitions.
What were everyone’s credentials who did get in?
I got waitlisted. Anybody know the chances of me getting in?
