<p>What are all you college freshmen doing this summer? Are any of you doing research or internship?? If so, where/how did you find them??</p>

<p>hopefully interning at the State Department... if not that, I dunno. I'm probably spending my next 2 summers after that doing music stuff... which I'll love, but I won't be able to intern then.</p>

<p>seriously, why would anyone go do more work over summer when they are already accepted to a college? some people are so stupid. childhood is not meant for wasting. you act like it would be the end of the world to DO NOTHING over summer...</p>
<p>how did you guys get your internship?</p>
<p>What's wrong with working over the summer? Just because you got accepted to college doesn't mean that life is easy and relaxing. </p>
<p>I haven't decided what yet, but I know I want a paid internship/job and to travel, maybe combine the two. :] </p>
<p>And for getting an internship, I'm just going to apply all over although I know I can continue interning at the place I am already.</p>
<p>I absolutely HAVE to work over the summer! Some people don't have parents who can buy them everything, you know.</p>
<p>This summer I'll take a class at a CC and transfer thecredit to the UC i'll attend next year</p>
<p>I like my job. I work at a golf course. It's fun and i get to kick back with long breaks, especially during the spring and summer months. Yesterday I saw Jerry Rice at work. During work i get to play a few holes, hit some balls on the range and just drive golf carts around. The perks are great too.</p>
<p>i'm a freshman now, and i'm looking to study abroad in china for a month over the summer....</p>
