Summer 2011...Is this manageable?

Sophomore in Fall 2011.

I am taking English N1A (3 units) and Chem 3A/AL (5 units) in Berkeley Summer Session. Both Session C.
...With a 25hr/week work schedule.

Is this manageable?

I think it’s manageable but you’ll exhaust yourself. I’m taking 4 in-class units and 7-units in online classes, with a 20-hr week schedule. I have to choose between free time to relax and study time, and after 3 weeks I am already burnt out and choose free time, haha. If you’re a good student, 8 units + work is fine.

Thanks. If laziness is the only problem I have to deal with, then I should be fine. But I was just worried that there might not be enough hours in a day for me complete my homework and other assignments.

That’s an impressive load for a short period of time. Why so many?

You might do well in summer, but not so well in the following Fall.
Just saying from my experience…

I did Chem 3A/3AL and English N1B summer after freshman year. It was a ton of work but I ended up doing pretty well in both classes. I would not recommend it if you’re also working on top of that though.
