Hello everyone,
So I need help on my situation. I just got accepted to UCSD for Fall 2012 (Yay!) and I am planning on knocking out one or two more lower division courses before starting there. I am not going to be anywhere near UCSD for the Summer of 2012, so I will not be able to take classes there. I am close to UC Berkeley however, and I wish to take classes there. Unfortunately I do not have the pocket money to pay for summer tuition.
Is there any financial aid I can receive that will help me for the summer? I am currently finishing up my last semester at my community college.

No, because you have to be a regular, degree seeking student to apply for financial aid. For summer, you woud only be eligible for loans. Have you used your annual loan eligibility at your CC? If so, you don’t have any loan eligibility left for summer, anyway. If you haven’t used your annual limit, though, you can talk to your current school about getting a loan for the current term … which you can use for the summer term.
