<p>I'd like to make this thread as a general source of information pertaining to the Summer 2014 semester at the University of Texas at Austin. </p>
<p>A couple of questions I have after getting accepted:</p>
<p>1.) When do we register?
2.) Do we not pay tuition until orientation?<br>
3.) Is orientation mandatory for transfer students?</p>
<p>Hope people feel free to chime in and ask other questions as well!</p>
<p>I believe orientation is mandatory for transfers, at least for fall; I would think summer would be the same way. Sorry I can’t help with the other 2 questions.</p>

<li><p>You register for classes on the last day of orientation (by the way don’t forget to send your immunization records if you’re under 21 so you can register for orientation if you haven’t- Due before May 5 if you’re doing summer school session.)</p></li>
<li><p>If you’re taking classes in the summer, tuition is due by June 5 5pm - if not I think fall tuition will be distributed July 22 - paid in full by August 13 5pm</p></li>
<li><p>It hasn’t said anywhere that it’s mandatory for transfers but I would assume so. I’m going! </p></li>

<p>Does anyone know how you’re supposed to know if you’re supposed to take any placement tests or exams or modules or anything?</p>

<p>@lmbaUT Is going to earlier orientations more beneficial for getting into Fall courses? I am going June 26th</p>
<p>@RedEyeJedi from what I can tell, the earlier you go to orientation the earlier you get to register for classes. I’m not totally sure on that but that’s how it appears</p>

<p>@kumagron23 I am attending the June 3rd orientation as well! My friend says you register at the same time as they let you register for summer classes, so maybe we’ll register for both that day?? Not sure at all. </p>
<p>@lmbaUT I still have no idea what the sessions are for summer, or like, if there is one long summer session, or if you have to take the first and second summer session at 6 hours a piece. I think i’ll just call today and see what they have to say lol</p>
