I don't think mine was that good and I got in-just do the best you can
btw I had such a good time there last summer! it's a great program =)

if you don't mind me asking, what were you stats? You can PM them to me if you want.

if you would, please pm me too

hpa10, are you done your essays? the rest of you app?

I'm having like, writer's block...but I plan to finish atleast one essay tonight

i have both teacher recs done, my counselor is working on the other one, and i finished one essay. so i just have one more essay to go and then im done.

okay...back to my Chances.

:)

you'llsee, finished yet? oh and by the way, what type of urm are you? im a hispanic male.

black male.

I"m done my first essay; and I plan on finishing the second one tomorrow. After that, my application is complete.

for the letters of recommendation, should i have my teachers/counselor give me the letters to add to my application packet or should I have them mail them in separately? If i am supposed to have them give it to me directly, should the letters be sealed/confidential or am I allowed to look at them?

i remember i gave my teachers stamped and addressed envelopes and they just mailed on their own. my friend did it to the collective way and it seemed to have turned out fine, as well. if you ask them to give the rec back to you, its best to tell them to seal the letter inside an envelope with signature across the back.
thats generally how college admission recs go, too.

i called and they said it was fine if your materials arrived separately as long as you have your name on it.

if it looks like one of my teacher rec's will be a day or two late, but the rest of my app is done and ready to go, should i go ahead and mail in the app on time and then just send the rec a few days behind it?

yes, definitely. Explain to them in a short letter that the rest of your application (the teacher recs.) will be arriving shortly after the other app. materials and why?

Also, on the website, they say that they will be accepting apps. after March 1..IF there is more room for new applicants. Good luck!

CHANCES!!!!
Please

you probably have great chances of being accepted

I'm kinda confused about the AP/EA program..the website says that you have to be a rising high school senior, so would that mean a senior right now or a junior? Also, does anyone know if the essays are supposed to be double-spaced or single-spaced?

a rising junior means that you are a sophmore right now, but will be a junior next fall. The same goes for rising seniors - it means your a junior right now, and will be a senior next fall.

I did my essays single spaced. Double spaced would be too short; afterall, the essays are only one page.

are the SAT/PSAT scores self-report only, or do i actually have to get an official record of them mailed in? if they have to be official, how do i go about getting them sent?

I copied my official psat score report.

ugh.....i can't wait two months.lol

^ me either. what other programs are you guys applying to?
