<p>Hi guys I'm an Irish student and im going to be working in manhattan this summer im looking to rent a apartment in queens or brooklyn close enough to manhattan for june july and august.</p>

<p>i was wondering if you knew of anywhere good to start looking?
i'v been checking craigslist and i emailed a few real estate agents but seems like theres no places up yet for that far ahead</p>

<p>so if you guys have any helpful info that would be great!</p>

<p>oh yeah im lookin for anything from a 3 bed and up, as i know a few people who want to share with me!</p>

<p>In Brooklyn, I would suggest Park Slope & places around Prospect Park. In Queens, I heard it’s best to stick with Astoria. NYU’s main “campus” is close to the West 4th train station, where the D & B trains go right over the bridge into Brooklyn. Going downtown, the first stop in Brooklyn is Atlantic/Pacific off the D train and DeKalb Ave. off the B train. So check out those areas, as they are going to be a short commute away from NYU. </p>
