During last year's vacation, I went to China and tutored some kids English. What would I need to prove it? Or can I just write it in my college app and they'll believe me?

Everything is honor-based on an application; there’s no need to provide any sort of information that would “prove it.”

Just make sure you provide enough information to show them what that experience means to you.

But if that’s the case, couldn’t anybody just say whatever they wanted to?

They can, but haven’t you heard of karma?

Any other thoughts?

Other thoughts?

Anyone who would consider lying on a college application should certainly know that if they’re caught doing anything dishonorable like that at their college, they’ll be expelled.

Chances are that if you don’t belong at a university but get in through lying, you won’t have such a good time there. The application process isn’t just about getting into the best school you can. It’s about finding a good fit.

lol, yeah, anyone can lie about anything. & people do…so, whatever.
