summer activity

Do we write that section of the supplement like an essay (2500 characters seems like a lot)? but there isn't a place to upload a response which makes me think that they simply want to see how you spend your time and the question could be answer in bullet format. What is everyone else doing?

I had the same question. I was planning to write a short answer(1000 characters?), but if anyone else has a better idea I would love to hear it.

I'm making my summer essay a kind of mix. I'm starting it off with a brief story and then expanding on it from there and making it more informative. I couldn't stand to write a standard: This-is-what-I-did-last-summer essay. I've hated those since elementary school :)

I can't remember: Is there a word limit to it? I don't want to bog down the admissions officer with another essay, but I also don't want to make it look like I hardly tried.

Hate to break it to you guys, many current Princeton students have said that it's not even supposed to be an actual essay. All they want is a literal list.....as in bullet points. Again, multiple accepted students have confirmed this.
