<p>I presume you are still in HS? There was a really interesting WSJ article a week back about internships and their importance. It worth a read. </p>
<p>I think HS is as good of a time as any to gain some working experience. There are companies who's sole goal is to help you connect you to internships but you may want to try other job sites like Monster, Careerbuilder. </p>
<p>I actually have been seeing more companies hire interns - its just a a more cost effective way to manage resources. Opportunities are out there - best of luck!</p>
