Summer Bridge Program

Has anyone else been accepted? Can any former participants provide an insight of the program?

Hi, I was in the 2014 program and it was awesome. You get to take two free classes while staying close to campus. You will be put in a small group with a mentor (who is also a student). You’ll meet new friends and get to explore Austin

Hi, I am a former Summer Bridge participant. Basically they put you into two classes based on your major; speaking from what I’ve experienced(might not be the same this year), engineering students will take calculus while others are going to take rhetoric and statistics. And you will meet a lot of people and some of them might become your close friends later. You will live on the campus for about a month and this will help you get to known UT better then other freshmen when the fall semester starts
Overall I would strongly recommend Summer Bridge /:slight_smile:
