I'm required to take the Summer Bridge Program in terms of my Admission Conditions. Is anyone familiar with the program and are the courses difficult? Because we must successfully pass the program with a C or better to get accepted into Fall term.

I had a friend who had to take this program this past summer and he said it was very rigorous, but everyone was willing to help each other out and get through it, so it wasn’t so bad. Also, it prepares you in advance for what’s to be expected at Berkeley, so that’s always a plus.

I never had to take the program, but I did live in Cleary Hall for a year. The location is fantastic–right in the thick of things Southside–and I can only imagine that it’s going to be pretty cool to have a small group of students that you can bond with before the masses descend upon campus come fall. Plus you get to practice the art of “Going to Class”, a highly underrated skill at Berkeley ;)
