I am also doing summer at brown this summer, but i have a question.. do they not admit anyone? and when do you found out you are in? (I just sent the last part of my app. yesterday, so im not expecting anytime soon) thanks

artgeek102: Yes, they do accept pretty much anyone that applies. I'm also wondering about when I get notice, but I think it says on the website that they will respond 3 weeks after they receive our application. So putting snail-mail time into calculation, I would approximate an additional week on, more or less, to the 3 weeks they take to review it. What course are you taking? Maybe I'll see you there.

3 week art history course from the 17th of july. my sn is citygirlalexuk, im me.

ugh, I'm taking "Faulkner and the Modern Mind" for three weeks, but it ends on July 17th.

Hey jamesah1 what year did you participate in COSMOS? I went to the UCI one last summer and had a blast. =)

what does cosmos stand for?

masterchief: I went to COSMOS summer of '02. What cluster did you do? I did the neuro/chem one and thought it was amazing. That's what really got me interested in neurobiology.

crumflake: COSMOS stands for the California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science. It is a selective program that is run by the UC system for high achieving high school students.
