Hello, All,
Could anyone advise any camps for kids who like Math, Science?
Any camps for kids who are rising 9th, 10th or freshman to college?
Are we too late to apply for something this Summer?
Thank you.

Hi CoolMom.

You may want to post your question in this Forum>> [Summer Programs - College Confidential](Summer Programs - College Confidential Forums)

Thank you!

Here’s an interesting link I found today [Teen Ink | Links to a list of summer programs for high school students.](Pre-College Summer Program Guide & Creative Writing Guide | Teen Ink)

Thank you, all.
learninginprog: Thanks for the link.
kathiep: thanks, I looked through it, some of these camps are amazing. However looks like we are a bit late already.
I have a graduating senior and 99.9% of camps are stating that they are for … rising seniors and younger.
I did find another camp, [Summer Camp Locations & Program Details – iD Tech Computer Camps](iD Tech Summer Camp Locations | Held at 75+ Prestigious Campuses) . Has anyone heard of this?

Moderator of this wonderful forum: , I am posting this question in the Summer Programs - College Confidential link as per learninginprogress poster, so if need to, please delete this thread. I don’t know how to do so. I do not wish to double post. Thank you.

coolmom,
Yes, it is very late to be applying to programs for this summer, most applications came out in the winter and were due in early spring.

The only ones I know of for after sr year are Jackson Laboratory and National Youth Science Camp. The latter is very competitive and likely both due dates have already passed.

You might try HCSSiM if your D or S loves math. Here’s a link [Apply! HCSSIM – Hampshire College Summer Studies in Mathematics](Apply! - HCSSiM)

If the 9th or 10th graders are girls, St Olaf is running a one week engineering and physics camp based on making a Rube Goldberg contraption.

Thank you, all for your suggestions. We started this process very late this year unfortunately. Hopefully, I will be a smarter mom next year.
I am hoping my kids can get some volunteer opportunities in the community or even unpaid internship at colleges around here for the graduating senior.
Thank you, again.
