Summer classes at Berkeley

Hey CC,

For the people who have taken summer classes at Berkeley, when do people usually sign up/register? How does the process work? Also, when are fees due?
Planning on taking Chem 3AL this upcoming summer

Also, what does this mean? " This course has no lectures. It takes place entirely over the Internet. The deadline to register/add this course is midnight (Pacific Standard Time) on Sunday, June 12, 2011."-from Online schedule.

Thank you!

The online thing means exactly what it looks like; the lecture portion will be online. When I took 3AL last summer, it was basically juts videos of Pedersen talking about the experiment for the week and some theory. I never watched.

Ok thanks, o when should I sign up for the class?

According to [Summer Registration 2011 | Berkeley Summer Sessions](Registration | Berkeley Summer Sessions) it looks like continuing students sign up in February of 2011.

There will be telebears as usual. Except this time, everybody has the same date.
