Summer Classes

I just transferred to Tech and I am considering taking 2 or 3 classes in the summer. Since it is my first semester, I am not sure how difficult the summers are. I am currently going to take Computer Science for Engineers and Linear Algebra. Would it be wise if I took a Wellness course too, or will it be too difficult it being my first semester and all?

Thanks in advance

It should be fine. Wellness class is very easy and doesn’t take up a whole lot of time. Who do you plan to take it with? I highly recommend taking it with Kliem.

I am taking Kliem. Thanks for letting me know

Summer classes are known for being slightly easier than classes during the regular school year, but they’re still probably difficult (I don’t know for a fact as I’ve never taken summer classes). I wouldn’t underestimate wellness though… I’m one of the only people I know who actually made an A. It’s extremely easy to make a B but pretty tough to make an A. I actually read the book and stuff, which most people didn’t bother to do. If you’re fine making a B then go ahead and take it, but if you want an A I might wait until fall or spring semester.

I would have to disagree. My friends and I took it last summer as a 5 week course and we had no problem getting an A in her class. All you need to do is read the book (least important), study your class notes, and review her slides, pdfs (probably most crucial). This isn’t any different from what is expected out of any course.
