<p>If I took summer classes at either St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, or at a Penn State campus, will my credits affect my gpa or will it just be used toward the total number required to graduate?</p>

<p>Credits earned at a non-University of Michigan campus do not transfer with grades and thus will not affect your GPA.</p>
<p>The credits you earn, if transferable and earned with a grade of a C (2.0) or higher, WILL count toward the total number of credits needed to graduate (120) but will NOT count towards the 60 credits you are required to take “in residence” (that is in a U of M-Ann Arbor classroom).</p>
