Has anyone had any experience with the NC state summer college camp. I haven't seen it anywhere else on CC.
NCSU CALS Academic Programs - Summer College in Biotechnology and Life Sciences (SCIBLS)

Should I go do it. I am a sophomore (going to be junior) and i want to do some sort of productive summer camp that looks good to colleges. I am already doing a duke volunteer program for 3 weeks at the genetics lab so do i even need to do another thing over summer?

Does anyone know of any other science related camps/internships in North Carolina that's admissions haven't closed yet (i kind of forgot to apply early)

SCIBLS is a wonderful program!
I was in this past summer. I learned a lot about basic lab techniques. You get three credit hours for it, and they are transferable to any college.
I think you should definitely apply!
SCIBLS is only for the month of July so you won’t be taking up too much of your summer.
You should make sure your Duke program doesn’t overlap with the SCIBLS schedule.
SCIBLS is Monday through Friday from 9 to 3 for the entire month of July.

I hope you go to SCIBLS and enjoy it as much as I did!

There aren’t many other summer camps available right now. Registration normally ends in march and early April.

Anyways, good luck!
:)
