<p>Is it true that UCs students can take courses anywhere they want during the summer. So if i go to Berkeley during the summer, i can take courses in UCI over the summer?</p>
<p>UC summer school classes are open. Remember that financial aid is not the same in the summer…check this first if this is an issue.</p>
<p>yes, you can take courses other places, including community colleges (check assist.org), provided that you have approved the credit transfer with an adviser at berkeley. take note that you will not be able to transfer the grade (ie. A, B, etc.) to berkeley to count for berkeley GPA; only the credit (ie. 4 units) will transfer.</p>
<p>Also note that other UCs are quarter systems and Cal is semester, so make sure you will get the credit you need</p>
