Summer Courses @ CC Bad for Transfer Students?

Is taking a tough course like Macroeconomics and an Online Intro to Psychology course (both transferable to current school) at a local community college bad for to-be transfer students?

Moreover, am I on the right track to be able to transfer to a (more) pretigious business school. I am a Kelley Direct Admit (IU) and am about to become a sophmore this upcomming fall.

SATS= 1310/1600
highschool GPA = 3.64 weighted; Came into college with AP Calc (4 credits)
**Freshman Year

1st semester GPA = 3.85 (12 credits)
2nd semester GPA = atleast above a 3.7 (17 credits)
Planning to take 6 credits (psych/macro) this summer
Sophmore Year
Planning to take 17-19 credits

Any help/advice is welcome and appreciated!

Depends on where you’re going. Some colleges won’t give you any credit for online/correspondence courses. Some have policies against accepting too much CC credit because they know it’s a “shortcut” for hard classes.
