Summer Courses/Opportunities

<p>Hey, I am a current freshman in college, and I was wondering what type of summer opportunities there were for taking summer courses at other universities. I looked into the Columbia Summer School, but I know there are others. I was also looking to take about a month to a month and half to check out another school and get some credit while I'm there.</p>

<p>Any suggestions on places to go? </p>

<p>Also, does anyone have a recommendation on where to look to find good summer volunteer or internship positions? I have Cornell Tradition, which helps fund me if the work I do in the summer is not paying much (e.g. volunteer), so I am interested in finding ANYTHING, regardless of pay.</p>
