Summer Courses

Right now I am in 9th grade and am taking Geometry and Spanish 1. I really want to take Algebra 2 and Spanish 2 over the summer to get ahead in my classes. First of all is there a limit to the # of courses that can be taken over the summer? And secondly, my older friends are saying that there is a lot of information in algebra 2 and it can't be covered in 1 summer. What's your opinion?

I am also in 9th grade and I am taking algebra 2 in school. I took algebra over the summer and it was pretty time consuming. You probably could do it, but your friends are right, that would be a lot to cover in summer. I ended up having to go for 3 hours a day for 4 days a week all summer just for algebra. Good luck anyways.

You can do it… Granted it might take you a consistent 2 hours a day, it’s not only possible, it’s highly likely that you can do it. Just make sure you don’t have a bunch of other stuff to do in the summer. You must be planning ahead, because we’re in September now… lol
