Im going up to orientation in a month as a freshman with 36 credit hours. (lots of ap and aice classes). I will be starting in Summer. Can anyone suggest a couple classes for summer that will not be overwhelming. I kinda want to get the lay of the land before fall. I was considering a writing course but just dont know. Please suggest professors also.

HUM3321 Mulitcultural Film is pretty chill. You watch a movie every week, write a few papers, take a few quizzes. You can watch the movie either on campus or on your laptop. My professor was really lenient with grading and his quizzes were really easy. I have yet to take the final but it’s going to be online. They also offer an online version of the class, so that could spare up some time for you.

that sounds interesting, any good films?

They usually incorporate a few old ones in, but we’ve had ones like I, Robot, X Men First Class, RED, The Help…they’ll be the same for summer

If you want to get one of the FSU requirements out of the way and haven’t done so, CLT3378 Ancient Mythology meets like 4 requirements in one class. The class is really laid back, especially if you take it with Dr. Branscome.
